Open source threat feeds like Emerging Threats require next-to-no configuration. Simply activate the feed in Settings > Integrations.

To configure the Emerging Threats Feed

  1. On Spectre's main menu, browse to Settings > Integrations > Open Source Feeds > Emerging Threats
  2.  Enable the threat feed by moving the Active slider to the right. 
    The label changes from a red No to a green Yes.
  3. Input a Polling Interval to indicate the time that should elapse between fetching the latest feed data. Input 24 to poll daily, input 12 to poll twice a day, and so on.
  4. Click Submit.  
    The feed is configured. Results are available in the Emerging Threats dashboard, and a variety of reports.

Subscription Emerging Threats

The subscription version of the Emerging Threats feed is configured in the same way as the open-source version except for one addition: You'll need to input a license key that you purchased from your Emerging Threats vendor.

  1. On Spectre's main menu, browse to Settings > Integrations > Subscription Feeds > Emerging Threats

  2.  Enable the threat feed by moving Active slider to the right. 
    The label changes from a red No to a green Yes.
  3. Input a Polling Interval to indicate the time that should elapse between fetching the latest feed data. Input 24 to poll daily, input 12 to poll twice a day, and so on.
  4. Click Submit.  
    Feed is configured. Results are available in the Emerging Threats dashboard, and a variety of reports.
