Discovery and the performance of your system is more efficient when you use your organization's SNMP credentials in the SNMP tab rather than common SNMP v2 community strings. Custom SNMP credentials put less traffic on the network. Hello World #3 configuration enables you to see that the results from each method are roughly the same, but system performance is improved when you use your organization's unique set of credentials.
Configuration Settings
After importing the configuration, browse in your Command Center to Settings > Zones, click each tab, and then click Edit to see the protocols and settings associated with it. The following matrix summarizes what you'll see. You can also use this table to manually configure zone collectors.
